    Healthy weight loss per week?

Right now im 5'1 135 pounds. I do have a lot of muscle but i need to lose a lot of fat too. MY goal weight is about 117-120 pounds.

How many pounds should i aim to lose per week?

I've been working on losing weight recently also and have been able to lose about 2 pounds per week consistantly.
I think much more than that would be unhealthy.

Out of curiosity, how did you arrive at the 117-120 number? Is that based on your current bodyfat percentage? For instance, at the moment I am working towards 15% bf (pre-prep for a contest next spring), so I know that my goal weight is 132 lbs, give or take a little muscle loss along the way.

.5-2 lbs, no more than 2 if you want to retain muscle mass.
