why does my rep seem like its worth nothing?

I repped somebody who had 0 rep power and 1 block of red and they still had 0 rep power and gained 1 block of green. I thought when I repped people they get like half of my rep or something.

I know youve heard this before but I checked the FAQ.

They get one rep point for every 1000 points that you have. It doesn't even matter anyways, they don't actually mean anything.

I remember it being either 1 rep for every 10 rep points, or 1 rep for every 100 rep points, instead of it being one for every thousand, like it is now.

Yeah dude your reps count for sure at that number, now when I rep people nothing happens! But thats cuz its usually like pouring a glass of water into the ocean lol.

I honestly have no idea.

If I am positive repping someone, I only increase theirs by 1 rep point, but I can do some serious damage (so to speak) if I neg someone. So, I'm not sure how that works either.
