    How to decrease scar redness?

I had a scar on my face cut out about 2 weeks ago so that it is now a line. The problem is when i had the stitches come out, not only the line is red. The whole inch or so area is red.

How can i decrease the redness of the scar? I know i will probably use make-up for a few weeks but what will make the redness fade the fastest so i dont have to put that **** on every morning.

I think Vitamin E helps.. put that on the scar.

But over time it will fade... I have a scar on my face from a skiing accident and you can barely even see it anymore.

Neosporin makes something for scars now. I heard it was good. You can find it at walmart or any drug store I think.

We use aquaphor on all recently closed wounds. The goal is to keep it moist and allow a nice microenvironment to promote wound healing and endothelial growth.

Some have reported that topical Vitamin E, oral vitamin C, topical vitamin A analogues have helped. clinically aquaphor has been the most ideal and successful for us.
FYI: H20 is the THE best supplement
