Whats so wrong with this? I can see using up the only squat rack doing curls but if you have an extra few lying around and take the bar out of the rack to curl w/it I don't see a problem. I can only curl like 95-100lbs right now so when I use the 45lb barbell for curls I only use a 25lb plate or sometimes 30 on each side for like 8-10 reps. How can I get stronger on these? The smaller barbell is ofcourse easier but I think its more impressive to use the bigger bar. Is it just me?
Ps: I do more then curls, just asking a question
I'm working chest/triceps tomorrow and then back/shoulders and then legs

keep em coming TJ, you just hit another one out of the park!
for an answer, I say go ahead. when I hit the gym, first thing I do is roll all the dumbells over 40lbs into a pile in the corner of the gym and piss on them. that way they're always free when I need them.
rock on TJ. Btw, my c**k is bigger than your arms.Last edited by gregor7777; 08-10-2006 at 01:20 PM.

I doubt your penis is bigger then my arm buddy. Is your penis 16 1/2-17 inches flexed? No. I never said I had huge arms, but they aren't skinny. Now if you said something like that about my chest or my shoulders then I would understand, but to say that about my biceps is crazy because they aren't small. And I'm not one of those curl jockeys or squat rack curl monkeys. If a guy is squatting, or if I happened to be squatting or using the rack for some kind of exercise I would be upset if some guy came up and wanted to curl there. But face it guys, not everybody wants to do things YOUR way. Also, my curl weight isn't impressive I know. But I'm not going for a 1,000lb curl. I don't care if I ever curl over 80lbs (which I do btw) if my arms are growing I'm happy. Same with the other body parts. I'd much rather have a bigger bench then a bigger curl anyday! So quit being so immature about it.

When I get under the bar, I don't worry about dropping the weight...because it's not going to happen

So the only reason you use the bench bar is because it looks more impressive? Wow, strong idiot
Friendship b/w women:
A woman doesn't come home one night. The next day she tells her husband she slept over at a girlfriend's place. Her husband calls 10 of her best friends. None know anything about it.
Friendship b/w men:

I pulled-up to a house about seven or eight I yelled to the cabbie yo homie, smell you later looked at my kingdom I was finally there to sit on my throne as the prince of Bel-air.UCLA Class of '09

If you haven't outgrown the pre-set bars, use the pre-set bars. Once the pre-set bars get too light, then you can use the bench bar. Common sense.
Hell you could even take those small 2.5lb plates and put them on the preset bars to add extra weight, assuming you can balance them and they dont fall off cause that would get annoying quick.Spike92 is 15.
^ place this in your sig to remind the world that Spike92 is indeed 15 and will never be anything other than 15.
