Rachel_n_SD's Log
A.K.A. Loot, Pillage, Rape, Burn-A viking's journey to Valhalla
I know you guys love my highly creative title
So, most of you know this already, but I've been skipping cardio sessions, eating lots of mexican food, drinking too often, and not getting enough sleep. So, in order to get myself back on track, I'm starting a log- so that next time I eat too many tacos, you guys can all talk **** to me and slap me around, and just generally humiliate me.
I will be doing HST. My blocks will be 15reps, 10reps, 5reps, then work on PR's with 3 reps. I actually started a little over a week ago, so today's workout was workout #4 of my first two week block. My workout looks like this:
RDLs, Squats, Standing Calf Raise, DB rows, BTN press, Weighted situps, incline DB press.
I do alot of DB work, yes- because my left side is bigger than my right.
So far, I feel like a total ******* doing HST. Doing 15 reps, i feel like everybody's looking at my thinking "dumb biatch, trying to 'tone'"
Also, I had to scale back 30lbs from my 15RM, which has me lifting really really low amounts of weight.
So basically, my workout right now is me still trying to look like a hardass while doing rows with 20lb DB's.
As for diet, it's gonna basically be 1800 calories, 5 meals each day. I don't want to cut calories any lower than that-since last time I ended up having to cut below 1500 to lose any fat.
I'll post some beginning pics on monday, gotta take 'em during the weekend.

Kinda masochistic... I like it. Though I can't compete with a viking.
Good luck. I know I can't resist the tacos myself.

LOL - the journal has been up for four hours and it already has 25 replies. Nothing like a woman's workout journal to bring out the worst in everyone.
Good luck with HST, Rachel.

well, day 2.
today was cardio day
so not much to talk about, workout wise. i just ran 4 miles. it sucked, which running usually does.
i weighed myself yesterday, and i was (ouch) 139- but that's what i get for completely disregarding my diet for several weeks.
tonight is gonna be the first test of my willpower- i'm going to my mother in law's for dinner, which means i'm going to have to salivate over home cooked mexican food, while sadly munching away on oats and eggs and crying quietly in the corner.
wish me luck! tomorrow i'll have some more detailed workout stuff.
