I can't. In fact, I don't know anyone who can. When you get owned on something like your physique, or a lift, what do you do? Do you accept it, or do you go out of your way to invalidate it?
If someone says "Wow, stfu noob", what's the first thing you say.
A. "Thanks, I guess I should shut up until I come up with something semi-witty of my own to say."
B. "OMG you suck at life, you stfu."
I'd say the majority of people would pick B. Agree or disagree, why?

Waiting until you come up with something semi-witty will always win in my book.

Are you aware that there are people in this world that have a severe medical condition which causes them to be that way? My mother for instance is one of those people. She is a truck driver that has bad knees and a bad back from driving the truck but you probably do not care about that case either. Oh well I am not one of those people I am 6'4" 245lbs and I exercise every day. I would love to see you say something like to my mother in front of me. Probably never happen though you are probably just an internet tough guy. I doubt very seriously you would say that to someones face. Just my thought. What do you think. Oh I am sorry you probably do not have a brain. I on the other hand will be happy to buy you a plane ticket to come here and see if you have the nerve to say that to someone I know.

Personally I don't give a sh!t. Usually people that put that much importance on stupid "ownage" are doing it to try and boost their own low self-esteem [no offense w8, I know you do it mostly just for fun].
I know that what I'm doing in the gym is serving a purpose, that I'm going to reap the benefits from my own experience and knowledge, so who really cares what others think? I've taken **** from guys in the gym, but it's always from the frat boys who only come to max out on bench and do some more bicep curls, or from the pharmacist-in-training who's so unnatural he may as well have bolts in the sides of his neck, and I'm not too concerned with their opinions. I've never really been owned by someone who's got their sh!t together and I don't really think I ever will, cause I do everything possible to make sure I have MY sh!t together too. True, I'm far from perfect, and I hope this doesn't come off sounding cocky, but I worry about myself FOR myself, not for the sake of how much others will stand up and take notice.
I still am not sure exactly when this place made the switch from an open forum for sharing of ideas and helpful advice to the high school locker room that it is now. Whatever, I'm still here to help others and learn...Last edited by mightymouse37; 08-09-2006 at 02:51 PM.

I figure most of us have some sort of ego here, and if someone owns you, or whatever, it pisses you off a bit. ****ty thing about it happening here is that you can't really do anything but, as everyone's been saying, come up with something witty to say back.

I got owned last night, by a cat
I came home from work at a very late hour, went into my backyard and wanted to do some pull ups in the door opening from my shed (hanging from the "roof", I guess). So I was hanging there and concentrating, and at the moment I wanted to do a pull up, some cat jumped in front of me out of nowhere!!!
That bastard scared me ****less , it was very dark and quit and in a blink of a eye he jumped at me with a lot of noise, stopped and ran away...
I stumbled in shock backwards, falling against the washing machine, how is that for getting owned...
