NPC Teen Nationals Photos
Hey everyone, I started posting pictures awhile back around 13 weeks out or so... I got lazy haha and didn't keep up w/ the pictures too well. Here are a few shots of me from Teen Nationals, hope you enjoy. I ended up taking 3rd in the Welterweight's class and I am happy with that, but next year I am wanting to really bring a freaky package. I'm hoping I can put on some good size in my off season this year. Overall Nationals was a great experience, I got to meet my long time friend RailZ (Mitch) there and it was great meeting up finally.

lachy: Thanks bro, been lifting since 7th grade on and off from 7-8th grade... Got real real serious w/ lifting around freshman year of HS (I just graduated this year). I'm currently doing DC (Doggcrapp) Training. Look some info up on it if you don't know what it is. It has been working great.
Nathan*1: Thanks bro!
Thickmass: Thanks man, yeah there are a lot of great competitors at the Teen Nats.

Thanks guys for the replies Here is a Picture of all top 5 w/ the trophies. I feel I'm pretty on par w/ the 1st place guy on condition as far as being lean goes, but I lack in the muscle maturity department. That's where Jazmany (1st Place winner) had the upperhand.

He is in a little better condition than you are and he has the best tan. I don't think your muscle maturity is as far off as you think. You were probably just holding a little more water than he was.

Finally someone else that thinks the same as me, i hate taking measurements, it just messes with your head.....
The mirror doesnt lie, i mean, sometimes you look in the mirror and you look small, fat and ****, lol, but most of the time its accurate..... Loads of people measure everything like twice a week, ive never done that, cant be bothered is one main reason why.
You look great bro, keep it up, you'll get it next time if you stick with DC and really nail yourself ot the wall when you hit the gym.
Thats a foot note for anyone thinking of trying it, if you arent up for putting yourself in ALOT of pain, then dont bother, because DC training really is exhausting and you need to be able to endure maximum discomfort whilst training to make it worth your while.

Yeah that's one thing I definately learned... At NATIONAL SHOWS THEY USE BRIGHT LIGHTS!! In my hotel room, I was dark as hell... When I got onstage for pre-judging I was the lightest competitor. I put on another couple coats after pre-judging. My muscle maturity is quite a ways off. But he is quite a bit older than I am too. I turned 18 in April, so I'm pretty young still. Jazmany is going to be 20 soon.

Dont worry about that bro, Maturity is like everything else in bodybuilding, genetic.
It'll come.

I dieted from April 10th - July 22nd haha... Whatever many weeks that is. I was about 170 onstage for the night show... I was a little too flat for the morning show, which I feel affected my placing significantly. I was about 165 in the morning, and 170 in the evening. I was much much fuller in the evening. I have pics from when I started the diet, just not on this computer. I will try to post pictures before and after some other time.

Lookin massive dude, especially since you're only 18!
How tall are you?
During the offseason how much do you weigh, and how many calories do you take when bulking?
Cheers

Thanks bro, I weigh around 190-200 lbs in the offseason. I'm hoping to be at 200-210 before I diet for 2007 Teen Nats. Hopefully leaner than I was before dieting this year. I keep my calories around 3000. I keep protein 1.5-2g/lb of BW. I don't really count carbs in the offseason. I probably should though.
