Anyone else get turf toe from takedowns?

Since playing football when I was high school I noticed I always had pain in the middle of my big toe. At jiu jitsu takedown/shooting drills are such a pain (literally) hell I had to shoot in on at a guy at the club today after a fight broke out, damn my big toe hurt bad after that.

Who else gets turf toe?

(Turf toe is a injury to the middle joint in the big toe when the big toe is forced to bend too far up or down and feels like a jammed finger but heals very slow)

I feel ur pain man. Ive always had this problem and it takes weeks or more 2 get straight from it, and it comes back agian so easily, so ****ing annoying.

My last case came from skateboarding, I landed weird off some steps and ****ed my big toe to hell. That was about 1 month ago, now every time i go to sanshou and do certain tricks skating i feel like crying, its slowly gettin better tho

just got it really bad on sat.Starting to heal slowly but havent been able to go back to class yet. Been frustrating first im sick and cant go for a week than i bust my back so my first day back on sat I get turf toe and havent been able to go back to class in over a month.

VERY ACCURATE description

yea i get this **** all the time i have been doing judo for 2 years now and have had either one or both of my big toes in this state for probably 22 out of those 24 months lol

but recently im getting it more from some one kicking my toe on accident rather then me rolling it or something i did, try to remeber to spread and pull your toes up and back when you shoot it will help elieviate som eof this was well as give you a bit firmer base when you shoot in (NOT MUCH FIRMER but a tiny bit and everything helps)
