And my 3rd track for the day, Leftfield - Song For Life. Voted #2 in BBC Radio 1's all time festival dance tracks - the second half is the cut that always gets played because of its higher tempo. I love it because it was the tune they dropped at dawn at the first all night rave i ever went to.

hey terrann, i'm also into this type of electronic music, where the volume of the beat kind of cuts in and out constantly which creates a volume flange effect. Someone told me that is french style, but im not sure.
here is an example
dogzilla - without you.mp3 - 5.31MB
if you know what im talking about, can you post more with that volume flangy style please? Thanks man.

haha yea that's EXACTLY what i am talking about, good thing you caught on, i couldn't really think of a great way to describe it. At around 1:30 in the song you posted that is exactly what i mean. But at like 2:40 i don't really like where the beat goes, gets too crazy and amped up. I like spacey trance where you can zone out to it with lots of echoes, not really hardcore dancing songs (these are good, but not what im looking for right now). This song isn't bad though, i just wish they entire song stayed how it was after the minute and half mark.

DJ Prada G is the best trance producer i've ever heard hands down. Better than Tiesto/Above and Beyond/ Grabrielle and Dresdon IMO. Not that any of those 3 are bad by any means, this just rules more than they do I'm gonna send the guy an email tonite and tell him how much his music rules. That song that was posted here called "the second you sleep" is the best electronic song I have heard to date, and with someone like me who has incredibly high standards for my music so it is quite the accomplishment
Thank you so much again to whoever posted that stuff first on here, it's like a whole new world has been opened for me now.

Awesome... I love Cherish the Day. I've heard a couple other Plummet songs that kick ass!
He mixes existing songs for sure, but I'm not sure if he also is a producer. Above he is credited with "Cherish the Day", but I know for a fact that this song was produced by the artist (producer) Plummet, so for this he just mixed it I suppose. But I don't know enough about him to say if he does produce songs or not in addition to the mixing he does. A lot of DJs mix and produce, so he very well could do that.Last edited by bluesky95; 05-08-2007 at 09:06 PM.

Anyone heard of:
Sunny Lax - M.I.R.A.?
Unfortunately I don't have the song, but here's a link to the myspace page with it: (it's only 2 minutes of the song though)
Sunny Lax Myspace
I really dig it, I actually heard it from an ATB set which I say on YouTube, and I was like, "damn I gotta know the name of that song!"...
While I'm on the subject of ATB... I freakin love his music!

what's with all the ATB love ? Last time i heard ATB it was that song "Till I come" and it was just repeating synths, and all their other songs were the same stuff, very repetive and boring.
