    No, getting tons of calcium increases bone density to my knowledge though.

    sorry fellas but exercise does increase bone density and strength and helps to reduce bone loss. studies show improved mineral content and bone mineral density. as well,mechanical loading = bone hypertrophy. thats why people who dont do some form of weight-bearing exercise as they grow older have a much higher risk of osteoporosis and fractures.
