I need an exercise advice for Middle chest

Hi Everybody,

I want to increase size of my middle chest.I'm doing some chest exercises but I would like to know some suggestions and advice from whom experienced well about this body part.

Which exercises do you suggest? How many reps should I do?

My current chest routine is:

Incline bench press 100 lbs x 12 - 120 lbs x 10 - 140 lbs x 8 (in last rep I can't do without support because my left arm is weaker ) and 160 lbs x 2

Decline bench press 120 lbs x10 3 sets

Incline dumble flies 36 lbs x 10 3 sets

Dumble pullover 58 lbs x 8 3 sets.

I'm guessing you havent been at this long based on your numbers... at any rate your not in a situation conducive to targeting specific minor imperfection.

Work on getting strong all over and building some muscle, don't sweat the minor stuff if you cover these two aspects of training the little things will take care of themselves.

Finally their is good chance this thread will turn into a argument about if the inner chest can be targeted or not... one thing that can't be argued is if you gain 20-40lbs and add several inches to your chest you will get a better "inner chest"

I'd drop the decline bench press and supplement it with some pec fly decks or something to give your chest the extra stretch you need to allow it to grow in the position you require.

Go heavy on the pec fly deck. If you don't increase the weight every few weeks then drop the exercise and look for something different.

If you mean middle as in the horizontal line through the "middle" of your pecs, add some flat bench work.

If you mean middle as in "inner" (along the sternum) substitute Close grip benches or Hammer grip db presses for one of your exercises.
