Marc Lobliner's Contest Prep Thread (new pics added 6-3-08)
http://forums.scivation.com/?showtopic=4&st=0
This is the thread I started on Scivation.com. We also have a current thing going at http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=831536.
I have decided to go through with this. I am moving cross-country in 3 weeks so I will be on the go. This is why I have not chosen a show. I will start with a 10 weeks out mindset and see what happens.
See the first link for starting pics.
I plan on training Cut Diet style with modifications to my own personal style, such as the use of deadlifts on back day. I will post my exact diet, training and supplementation as frequently as I can with update pictures as often as possible with my demanding schedule. Yes, Cut Diet all the way!
Here goes!

With BCAA and Whey!
Did you read the study that said that EAA alone is better than EAA + Carbs?

7-31-06 Day 1
I flew in from my business trip with my family last night and crashed at my Mother-in-law's house 5 minutes from LAX. We had been traveling for 17 hours WITH A BABY and finally got in bed at 3am last night. I set the alarm for 5:30am because it was chest day and I had a TON of work to do before leaving for Florida Tuesday night. I woke at 5:30, ate some sludge (2 Scoops chocolate Substance mixed with 4tsp. peanut butter and just a tad of water mixed into a thick paste then placed in the freezer for 10 minutes), took 2 Thermal Rage and 4 Alcalean, and headed off to the LAX 24 Hour Fitness. I prepared and took with me 1 scoop of Primal EAA with 6 scoops of Watermelon Xtend in 32 ounces of water. I sipped about 1/3 of this on the way and filled my water jug with fountain water when I arrived.
My workout was NICE! The pump was unreal and since I don't train there often, people were looking at me like, "Who the hell is that guy?" I had to skip cardio PW and I will do it tonight due to time constraints, but where it is:
Flat Barbell Bench

275x6

Worked to full stack for 6 or 8 sets

Tonight: 30 minute LI cardio outdoors with dogs to unwind and enjoy my final weeks in California.

Supplements
The Anagen and Fenotest spaced out 3 caps each 4 times per day.
Other than workout nutrition, that's all! I travel as light as possible.

great job with the detail in so far Marc, i was hoping the diet you follow would be fairly well documented to demonstrate to everyone how effective I believe it will be.

Thanks!
The deal is that my life is a disaster. I work long hours and travel too damn often AND I am moving in 3-4 weeks cross country. If I can maintain contest prep during this time, anyone can. I just wish I could get in more whole food meals consistently.
I will keep updating this from my Treo and from hotels all over the place.

I'm gonna think of this quote the next time I even THINK of ditching a workout for lack of sleep. And for you to put up those poundages @ that volume under those conditions is just more to marvel at. Thanks for the inspiration, Marc!
