I assume you mean you called a "store"...If so it may be a franchise store, and they do not carry 100% of the products carried by the Corporate stores or website...

I suggest you either order from there site or call a few more of the GNC stores in your area...

It just depends who you talk to. Just like any shop, gym, internet forum, etc., you have to weed out the people who aren't as knowledgable as they seem.

You just have to watch out for the commission whores who try to load you up on all of the expensive junk.

agreed...GNC sucks!! do you have a Vitamin Shoppe close by? better prices.....more products on hand....no bs membership thats only good for a few days a month... and even when something is on "sale" at GNC with your gold card, it will still be less at vitamin shoppe

not to mention the kick ass clearance table!! i've gotten nitrotech cans@$1.50, AMP RTD's@$0.80, and a box of Myoplex Lite for $3!! all of which were well over a month or two from expiration...beat that GNC!

i totally forgot about the clearance table!!! i think the staff at vitamin shoppe are much more helpful/knowledgable than gnc staff

Vitamin Shoppe is great. THey have discounted items and carry a variety of brands. I am able to get the manager to price match products for me off the internet. GNC will not do that around here. Plus GNC is way overpriced on items.

The only things I see at GNC are their own brands, MuscleTech, BSN. The Vitamin Shoppe's I've been to are becoming the same way in which they are trying to push their own brand of products.

As far as Universal's Storm goes. I only see Animal Stack in either of the stores. Universal's products are simply not pushed in retail chains it seems. I couldn't even find Amped from Met-Rx in either. Powder nor RTD.

I work at a GNC, have for 3 years...If someone comes into my store for a product i give it to them explain give them other options and let them decide what they think is best for themselves i dont push any brand because i know some brands make certain products better than others

Instead of MET-Rx Amped try SuperPumped 250 its a good price rite now too

Yes, the Ulitmate Man is formulated after mega man, however it's half the price almost. Plus, VS seperates itself from GNC as having a vast selection of products. Just in the mens multi's, VS has just released a whole food organic one a day multi vitamin manufactured by New Chapter who is the only 100%organic supplement company.

Um, Vitamin Shoppe carries Amped, I know that for a fact.

They also carry products from Designer Supplements, Controlled Labs, Scivation, Myogenix and a host of other great companies. Vitamin Shoppe is where its at

Vitamin Shoppe's in-store line is also a much greater value than the stuff GNC offers. They have a vast variety of products at pretty good prices. I ignored the place for a long time, but once I stepped inside, wow, every other chain nutrition store was long forgotten.
