Average Hand Size

I was just wondering the hand size of men and women and their ethnicity. My hand size, from wrist to tip of middle finger, is 7 1/2" long. How big is your hand? Also what kind of work do you do with them?(construction, sports, typing, writing, etc..)

7" although there actually short and stubby, I thought 7" is long. They are reminiscent of a gorilla's... hairy palms included. Job = bouncer

I use my hands to:
pick up things
carry things
move food + drink towards my mouth
lift weights
jerk off
operate the remote control
type on a keyboards
write
punch people who ask me how big my hands are
dress/undress myself
etc.

I have smaller hands but I'm a guitar virtuoso with a really strong grip so it doesn't matter.

The reason I ask is since so many athletes have large hands and so many scholars have small hands. I wanted to see if their was the same corelation on bb.com

Why have you included height in your goals in your sig? You do realise that you can't control that aspect of your growth presumably?

Actually you can. Wish I had known that when I was young.

My hands are 7.25" but they are very small - I'm 5'6" 175lbs. I have worked construction and at a desk - currently at a desk typing and drawing.

"Span" is 69 inches @ 5'8.5

damn for bein 6'2, id expect a longer span. maybe I just have long arms. your 6 inches taller than me, but only have 4 more inch span
