The old wrestlers trick of spitting in a cup? I know I can easily gain or lose ~10 in water weight easily because I drink so much, so I guess you could try dehydrating yourself? Then after weigh in rehydrate?

I have heard of PL'ers standing on there head for 2-3 minutes if they didn't make a weight class. Then stepping back on the scale immediatly after they are done standing on their heads and having dropped a couple of pounds. Ha, I know this sounds like stupid and sarcastic post, but really, I read this somewhere and people responded saying that it actually worked. I don't know, but if you miss the weight class by a tad, then you might want to give it a shot.

I have about four days. Currently I'm just eating less, but I'm looking to set some PRs at this meet so I'm wondering what's the best way to go about it.
I'm 156 and need to be an even 150.

4 days is cutting it close, but you can do it. Cut out all carbs. drink more water today and tomorrow. Eat almost nothing the day before weigh-in. The day of weigh-in don't eat or drink anything. If you can't make weight, get into a sweat box and then do some jogging.
If your weigh-in is the same day as the meet, enter at the higher weight.

Don't eat/drink things after 7 or so. See if that makes a different tomorrow morning. And then if you want to get really extreme...
Bring out a trashbag, cut a slit at the top for a head, and two at the sides for the arms. Put this on as the first layer, then maybe 2 shirts, and a sweatshirt. Wearing sweatpants would induce sweating quicker {Do this if you wish to}. Then run some, and if you can, jump rope like crazy, IMO jump rope is better because makes your body heat up quicker, and you don't really start to fatigue as much.
Again, ^^ that is what I did when I had to make weight. I was walking around at 255, sometimes 260, and had to cut down in two days to make 250.

RE what wrestling man just said, it's much easier to go from 255 to 260 than from 155 to 150.

yeah, i leave tonight at 12.30 for empires, but i didn't really want to go the rubbersuit run route.
time to be hungry, i guess. there's no way i can go up. i'm an oly lifter and compete at 69kg. the next weightclass is 77kg and i'd get crushed.

Drink a gallon of water per day , drink 2 quarts the day before and drink nothing before weight in ........in the morning I suppose !
Drinking water wiull prevent you from retaining it .
Personally I use more dramatical yet safe diuretic methods I cant discuss here .......

I wasn't putting you down, just pointing out that it's easier to lose weight when you're heavier.
A-rod, being that he's on oly lifter, "drastic" measures are most likely out of the picture.

Try a ginger root bath...get some ginger root, slice it up and tie it in a sock, toss it in your bath tub and make the water as hot as you can stand it. Try to submerge your self in there for about 45 min to an hour....if you can take it. Also, try a glass of red wine before you get in.....you will sweat your ass off. Do this the night before you weigh in. Do not drink any water until you weigh in. Just drink water or gatoraide after weigh-ins and you will be fine.
I got this off of monstermuscle.com....Ryan Kennelly does/did this before a meet and I have tried it. It works! I lost 14lbs of water, did the weigh in, drank gatoraide and water to re-hydrate and I was fine.

In addition to the bath thing. I've heard somewhere about getting in very hot water {as you can stand}, and pouring rubbing alcohol over your head, as this will suck out scubtaneous? {can't spell it right} water. I think in fact, it was that a bodybuilder did it to get shredded. If I have time later today {~noon} I'll try to give you a hand on searching for it.

There are a bunch of safer and more effective ways to lose water,no need for that ........
Drink more water to hold less , your body `s no reason to hold something that`s plenty !

That's awesome. Good info.
By the way, you just told a minor to drink alcohol.
