Workout days?
Hi guys,
Ever since I've become regular in my workouts, I've come to notice that the days I do go to the gym, I feel less hungry, and the days I don't go to the gym, I'm constantly craving food!
Therefore, I thought why not go everyday? But then I wonder, am I going to overdo it? So, my question is: How many days should one workout?
Although my main goal is to loose fat, I'm not sure if I am, but I do notice me gaining some muscle (arms and legs are getting toned). I've been working out for a month now and have seen some results, although more could be better.
Here's my workout plan of 4 days:
Cross-Trainer for 40 min at level 3 using the Hill workout.
Machine weights doing squats, pull-ups, dips, inner thighs, and for the upper back.
Sit ups, crunches for the abs, including the sides and the lower abs. In doing lower abs, I get a lower backache, so a trainer at my gym recommended an exercise to strengthen that area.
All this usually takes about 1.5 hrs.
Should I do more? Increase the days? Increase the exercises?
My diet has been good - protein shakes after workouts, chicken, veggies, milk, cereal. New Year's brought about a night or two out where there was much food and some alcohol. But that was one day only.
So, if someone could guide me please...!
Thank you!

Just commenting on the days.
If you rotate upper and lower body, then six days weight training would seem reasonable to me.
If you do both upper and lower body in the same day, I'd say three days a week for strength training. On the other days you could do walking, bike type exercising.

I moved this from the Supps section.
I think you'll get better responses here.
If you have any supplement questions though, please feel free to post them on that section; as we will be glad to help ya!
