Up until today I've been having 2-3 glasses of skim milk and a cup of fat free cottage cheese... but I just started supplementing ZMA, and I've read that the calcium in dairy will cancel out the zinc (basically end up fighting for mineral absorption because the milk just sorta sits there).
So now I don't know if I'd be better off taking the ZMA and waiting half an hour before my last meal... which would contain all the dairy. OR find an alternate source such as peanut butter to slow absorption.Intake - Requirement = Caloric Excess (Deficit if negative and maintenance if zero)

To stay away from possible gains of fat, I like to either have a Nitro-Tech RTD or some quality fruit. A lot of times, I will have both. Having late night hunger is very common, and it is a killer if you are trying to build muscle and lose fat. Even with that said, good nutrition at night is just fine because your muscles are hopefully screaming for it, waiting to grow!

I prefer eating about 2 pounds of meat prior to bed so that it takes more than 3 hours to digest the protein in there. I like to eat lean beef, turkey, chicken, and I feel great waking up. It is better to eat protein before bed so you dont wake up and piss, interrupting your sleep. By the time you get up, you will be ready to **** it out. PERFECT SOLUTION! Drink your protein during the day, eat it at night.
