My current routine is 4 days split and training every muscle group once a week.
Since a lot people make great gains by trainng every muscle group twice a week or more. So I will give it a shot next week. My following routine will look like this.
Monday: Chest, shoulders and triceps
Tuesday: Back, traps and biceps
Wednesday: Quads, hams, and calves
Thursday: abs and cardio
Friday: Chest, shoulders and triceps
Saturday: Back, traps and biceps
What I've been worring is about training chest and shoulder together, after a heavy chest workout, I won't able to train shoulders as heavy as usual.
Should decrease the work load, or just keep lifting heavy as usual.
Thanks~

Is training every muscle group twice a week too much?

Without knowing your background and goals hard to tell. One thing is for sure you most likely do not need a 4 day split unless you have been working out for quite some time...
Your routine in general might be overtraining.See my Journal and GIVE ME SOME ADVICE here: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=759163

Where's your second..ugh.. "leg day"?
You could lengthen your microcycle like this:
M:Push
T:Pull
W:Leg
R: Off
F:Push
S:Pull
S:Leg
M:Off..... etc etc
Or do a Upper/Lower split 2x a week with 3 days rest, or lengthen the cycle as above and do it about 3x a week. (Or do full body 3x a week... or more...)
