I've had a pretty good experience with MuscleMilk so far. Mocha Joe flavor contains caffeine, so I'd stay away from that. Cookies and Cream is good.

The Matrix 5.0 perfect choclate is really good if you want one with out the fat and calories that Muscle Milk has.

you'd want any protein whose main source is casein protein. right now there are only a handful of options, ultra peptide probably being the best.
on has a 100% casein but i hear the flavor might suck.
i know DS just asked for testers for sustain which is a casein blend as well.
just look for casein as the main protein.www.placebro.net

Matrix is a great nighttime protein, and like someone else said - if you want to read reviews on the taste, just do a search - people love the Chocolate flavor, and also the Orange Cream flavor. It has casein, whey, and egg white protein (it also contains glutamine peptides). So it's certainly not 100% casein, but is a great mix of a few different protein types some of which digest quickly ... so with the mix of fast acting and longer lasting protein sources, it is ideal for any time, especially morning and night when you want some casein.Originally Posted by nyg99

I think the taste of the Ultra Peptide is as good as any protein I've tasted. I'm not a big fan of the way ON protein tastes.

I have tried the Matrix Orange Cream and I can atest to the flavor, that stuff is truley amazing. I have been using it for a night time protien for about two weeks now.

Well if I got time I put it in the freezer and get it frosty, tastes almost like an ice cream shake but then again its been years since I've had a real shake so I don't know if I can honestly compare

This is standard pratice in the industry. Try asking Met-rx what is in their blend, what is the ratio in VPX's micellean or in San infusion. Companies need to protect their development costs, otherwise take-offs would spring up as usual.Originally Posted by ForceLineBacker
