***** Vpx Shotgun Review ******
hey guys as promised, I said i would write up a review about this product by VPX. Let me first start off and say that the only other VPX product i have ever used was their Redline.
Stats 5' 7" 180lbs. Bf: 6.0% caliper test.
supplements currently taking:
Xtend
ON whey protein
so here to the REVIEW:
(everything will be based out of 5) where 5 is the best and 1 is the worst.
Taste: 2/5
The taste that comes with the bottle is a "green apple". The directioins indicate to mix this with 10oz of water and then consum 12 ounces of water afterwards. Drinking this "10oz" fluid was bad, i had to down it as fast as possible. It literally tasted like bitter ****.
Mixablitiy: 4/5
It mixed well, the scooper is HUGE, but with the 10oz of water it mixed well, no complaints. There was no clumping at all.
Performance: 5/5
GUYS this is what matters! Jesus H. Christ. This stuff was amazing. I took it like it said 20minutes before my lift, and it hit me in like 10minutes. What hit me was a sense of focus and energy all mixed into one. It was not a jittery feeling you get from overdosing on energy pills or drinks.
Let me give you an example of my workout today.
Last week Shoulders (Without Shotgun)
Standing Shoulder Press 145 x 6
Machine Lateral raise 185 x 8
Seated Lateral Raises 35 x 6
Bent over lateral rasie 40 x 10
Today: Shoulders WITH shotgun
Standing Shoulder Press 165 x 6
Seated Lateral Raise 40 x 6
Machine Lateral Raise 195 x 8
Bend over Raise 50 x 10
I also did 4 miles of running post this lift with GREAT endurance.
Price: 4/5
The price was great considering all of the things that this product comes with.
Conclusion:
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product to anyone, it gave me one of the best shoulder workouts i have ever done. I have taking "NO-Xplode" but it gave me really bad dirahhea, so i had to stop taking it. The effects of this were much much greater than NO-xplode.
Any questions???

more solid than say Storm?
Reason i'm asking is because after my cut i'm gonna be back on some type of creatine stacked with 5-Tetra, and the two I cant decide on are Storm or Shotgun...

A pure creatine product would probably be better than this if the only thing you want is the creatine alone.

While I have only been using this product for about 5 days or so, I have to say, I really like it as well.
I have to agree with the thread starter, the focus and intensity you get are pretty good.

the pumps were very good, now its not the type of pump you feel like "ohh i can barely bend my arm" type pump. However, you can tell that there is a lot more blood flow through that area of the muscle than if you werent taking it. The vascularity is great, i have really low body fat, so im always vascular, so its hard to distinquish if its this product really doing that or just me.

workout today was absoluletly phenomnal
i did arms, then did cardio at a very high intensity 85-90 % of my max heart rate for 31 minutes and 15 seconds.
todays workout was 10/5 + 5 extra points for its effectiveness, i put 10lbs extra on every arm and tricep lift i did.

I'm beginning to feel that NO-SHOTGUN may be the best Creatine/NO/Energy product ever created!

we cant immediatly jump on the no shotgun fan train. lets let the people who are taking it,cycle it for a few months. as with every NO product, will the body develop an immunity??? Will its effects gradually diminsh???. Only time will tell, so those who are on it, stay on it for awhile is check with us on how its working.

Chest + Cardio
WORKOUT: 5/5
Today i did chest + cardio+ pullups
Flat bench: 135x 10 185x 10 225 x 5 275x 4 225x 11 225 x 11 225 x 8
(pullups were superseted between every push exerciese, alternating from a narrow pronated grip to a wide pronated grip. I would do 15 reps of pullups between every set of bench press and incline dumbell press)
Incline dumbells: 85 * 12 4 sets
On teh ball dumbell press 75 x 10 4 sets
Incline smith machine : 2 45's on both sides, 4 sets of 5 reps
pushups: a lot.
Cardio 1 hour on elipitical level 13 rpm 85- 95 range.
AWESOME WORKOUT! the shotgun gives me focus throughout the entire workout and also, gives me a great level of stamina for cardio post lift.

Leg Day...
Woke up: 8:30am
Breakfast:
1 cup oatmeal made with water
2 whole eggs, used pam spray
4 slices of smoked turkey breast
10:30 took 1 scoop of NO-Shotgun
11:00 was at gym and allready warmed up via 7:40seconds running at 5mph.
... here we go
I just want to say that i usually destroy people on leg day because no one has the stamina to keep up with me. So here we go
Squats:
135 x 100, 135x 100, 135x 100 135x 100
yes, your reading right, today i did 4 sets of 100 reps, back to back, no rest on each 100 rep set, i did them each straight through and took a 7minute break between sets.
Next : Leg Press
4 45's on each side, 15 reps very deep, *legs shaking from squats)
Next: HAmstring Curls
100lbs, doing the kind milos shows where the top portion of your back is up and did 5 sets of 8-10 reps
Next: Leg Extentions
4 sets of 150lbs did 15 reps each set.
Next: Seated Calf Raise:
75 slow reps with 2 45's.
WOrkout 10/5 (stamina endurance everything is up up and up)
I have never done 4 sets of 100 reps before i usually did 225 x 30 for 3 sets then drop to 135 x 100 reps on my last set. Today i wanted to do a volume leg workout, needless to say my legs were shaking to **** after this workout and post workout i consumed in a shaker bottle
1 cup oatmeal
2 scoops xtend
1 scoop cellmass
2 scoops ON whey.
