Question Need advice! Wanting explosive strength and certain muscles strengthened...Tips?

Am a beginner weightlifter and confused on how to gain just purely explosive strength. I was thinking on olympic style lifting and also incorporating the main 3 also will a few other exercises? Would that be resonable?
