i've always been a tricep workout fan...i feel like it's got the most gains in them...but recently i've added weight and found that i go to failure at my normal amount of reps...but i dont feel like my triceps are getting tired! it's more like my back and shoulders are doing all the work...then when i go back to lighter weight it's just not tiring me out at all
this is on pull downs with a straight bar and kickbacks
has anyone had any problems like this before?

Chances are if your feeling your lats and shoulders work on those exercises your elbows are moving. They must remain stationary at all times, otherwise your just throwing your back into it. But as mentioned above, those are better options.
