Probably be better for me if I were still around 235.
I'm small as **** right now, muscularly speaking. lol Taking a few weeks off to let me left shoulder heal up a bit. Damn wide grip military pressing.
WRONG. All freaking wrong. World largest pastic ball room, you know, those things like you see at Chuckie Cheese that the kids play in? Only this one is jumbo size for adults to play in.How does one destroy darkness? The answer dawned upon my mind, blinding in it's brilliance. To destroy darkness, one must simply expose it to the light.

based on the CF WOD, but much more emphasis on strength and power. There is no greater natural advantage in life than to have an enemy overestimate your faults, unless it is to have a friend underestimate your virtues.

That kicks ass man. That might be a tad bit more what I'm actually after. Hmmm.
Did a couple pushups yesterday, just to see where my shoulder is at. Feels decent. No accute pain like there was a few weeks ago. Been taking my Cissus and Ibuprofen like a good Viking. Joints in general didn't seem to like it, elbows and all, but that felt more like just being deconditioned to being loaded. Excited to get my ass moving again. How does one destroy darkness? Yeah, it looks solid. I'll hopefully give it a go sometime next Summer, but in the meantime I'm lovin me some CF. Plus I'll need the time to research the PM's crazy exercises (tall cleans, tiger bend push-ups, and jumping sit-ups? wtf?!)
And then there's another one, Mike's Gym WOD, which is pretty much exclusively Oly lifts w/o any met-con. http://www.mikesgym.org/wod.php
Comin back from an injury you'd prolly be best off starting with the Brand X WOD, then CF WOD and then moving onto the PM WOD once your shoulder's ready to take a little more abuse.
Glad to hear it! What's next? I'm sure you know that you gotta be careful with the NSAIDs (liver, ulcers, etc). Are you experiencing chronic pain? You takin your fish oils? WD-40 rubdowns? There is no greater natural advantage in life than to have an enemy overestimate your faults, unless it is to have a friend underestimate your virtues.

I'm still here guys (sort of) Work finally blocked BB.com(it was inevitable really). So, what interaction I have here will be limited to the evenings, and I've been a busy little bee with my project in my spare time, so not a lot of time to post.
Did some pushups this weekend with no acute pain in my left shoulder. So that was good. Still feels a little dodgy though, so I'm going to give it another week or two. When I do go back, I'm thinking something along the lines of 3 full body days a week for a while, light and high reps, with maybe some CF(ish) metcon work, till my joints get used to things again.
So. Meh.How does one destroy darkness? The answer dawned upon my mind, blinding in it's brilliance. To destroy darkness, one must simply expose it to the light.

I'm sure you can get around the filter Glad to hear your shoulder is feeling better. How about the back?
It's not how much you can lift, its lift as much as you can.
Lifting weights would be a lot easier if they were not so heavy.
