Best angle for Incline bench press?

I think the bench that I have at home has a bit of a high angle, i dont feel comfortable benching on incline, and I know i need to do it because most of the chest is in the upper part and mine is lagging behind. I havent measured the angle my bench has but i think its about 40-45 degrees.

Not above 45 degrees, but not below 30 degrees.

I like to do both.....barbell at 40 to 45 and dumbell at more like the 30 degree mark.....I think blastin em at different angles is good.
You can, and need to find a ground that you know you are suppose to stand on.. hence, stand your ground, this is the place where you know everything is as it should be for you. If you stand in a place where you know in your heart things are wrong, most things around you will never be right.

Rule number one, never work at being what another man defines as being "honorable", Honorable is is being true to what you know and and doing what you know is right for you..

I use a 30 degree angle everytime. Less shoulders that way.

Don't waste much time with incline.

If you're trying to develop a big chest, then spend most of your time on the 'flat' bench using a barbell. Do assistance work with db presses and dips. Spend little time working the chest on incline and decline benches.

    Go heavy!!!
