Should I do compound exercises ONLY?

I'm trying to create a good work out plan after 3 years of being inactive from the gym. I hear alot about how isolation exercises just arn't that affective when trying to gain mass, and mass is what I'm wanting to gain. Should I include nothing but compound workouts in my plan? Is it true that if you do nothing but compounds, you can somewhat shortin' your number of exercises and time working out, opposed to doing a bunch long inaffective isolation exercises? What are some of the best compounds to incluse in your routine besides deadlifts, bench press and squats?

    Good compound lifts:
Deadlifts (floor, rack, stiff leg, etc.)
Bench (bb, db, incline, decline, reverse-grip, close-grip, etc)
    Squats
    Rows (various types)
    Pull-ups/chins/pull-downs
    Military press
    Dips
    Leg press
    Hack squat

    I'm probably missing a few.
