The 5 favorites, in my opinion.
Brazil
Argentina
Italy
Portugal
Germany (only because they're hosting the world cup and they'll have an entire country supporting their national team)DoN'T Be a FooL... WRaP YouR TooL!

Germany is going to take it. After that upset at the last world cup and the fact that they are playing in their own country = more motiviation, better training in their own conditions

Did anyone else see how Brazil played in the confederations cup?
They will be a force on the field, no doubt."A good thread is like a miniskirt. Short enough to keep you interested, and long enough to cover the entire subject"

Check Republic was the second best team, but Greece defeated them too. I never saw a team as lucky as Greece in a competition like this.DoN'T Be a FooL... WRaP YouR TooL!

Don't knock Australia yet. They are awesome players and just need to play as a team for a while. Uraguay are 18th in the world and have won the world cup twice! They often beat Brazil and Argentina! We owned them in that second leg, a performance like that against a European nation will see 3-4 goals in the back of the net, because Uraguay are great defenders and the team plays as a team all the time where as we don't. Knocking off some better teams is not unrealistic.
