    Carbs before bed

when you eat carbs right before bed, do you have trouble sleeping?

I know i have trouble falling asleep and i have nightmares. Like today, i lifted weights, got home and got my pwo meal in and took a nap. I dreamed my dad died and i think i was actually crying in my sleep. But anyways, how about you?

different carbs may have different effects on you before bed thats why i asked. maybe try something like rice, potatos, or oats and bananas.

i find too many carbs at night make me sleep poorly as well. i also feel groggy in the morning when i do. im very carb sensitive though. if that's the way you are as well the just have a protein shake and something else lowcarb for your last meal. seems to help me.

i usually have very few carbs before bed no real reason why though. Weird though I dreamed my mom died last night and woke up completely disoriented.

I don't think its the carbs, I think it is the fact that "nap dreams" are always freaky. I have no idea why but whenever I nap crazy things happen in my head that don't when I sleep at night.
