    running before breakfast

    is it okay to run before eating breakfast? i remember eating breakfast and getting pain while running, and what is the best thing to eat before running?
    I run early in the morning at 5 o clock, jogging and sprinting kinda....

    Dude eat breakfast...running before breakfast is asking for trouble...not eating for 8 hours, than burning off more an hour later, is not good for muscle gains...

    In terms of burning fat -- its great. But for the bodybuilder you need to get some food in you before you start burning off the calories because some of the fat you burn will also be muscle.

    This is something I've often wondered about. Does a person actually burn muscle or nutrients/fats used in building said muscle? If the latter is correct, than not having consumed anything shouldn't be a problem. Would anybody more knowledgeable like to clarify this?

    im not that fat, but fat, just not fat, jk, but anyways i want to run to burn fat, but loose muscle at a minimum rate....soooo yea.....
