I had a cheat day today for the the first time in about 2 weeks and tonight after looking at myself in the mirror it seemed like I looked just like i did 3 months ago. Im starting to get real frustrated and about to just give up altogether and pig out on whatever I want but still lift and run to maintain a little bit.

I dont get waht all the hype is about cheat days... Why if your doing the hard work to get there why do you want to step on it in one day. Granted i understand maybe like.... a Jimmy Johns or sushi.. but why go all out with like 4,000 calorie days? Dude.. im sure its not that bad. Stay strong and keep working.

So what your saying is you slacked. You can do 1 of two things..
1. Cry about how you messed up, and say its pointless to continue on the diet
or
2. Run more, not as a punishment but because you messed up let self control get wild and now you gotta make up for it.
P.S... Im from Detorit... They have National Coney Island.. its my hardest test of will power to not eat there when i go home.

all i can say is that the mirror LIES! worrying about this will cause you more harm then the acutal event.
it'll be ok--the world is still turning, the space shuttle will eventually fly, and north korea is going to throw bombs at us and none of it will matter anyways!"I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me." - Phil 4:13

Worse then a bunch of girls (not all just some) crying over calories, you think people would have bigger things to worry about in life then this crap. Eat healthy, live well and dont place concrete restrictions on what you eat and you want need to binge/cheat.
It aint just how much you lift but how you lift it

I agree!! Personally, I call my "cheat meal" a treat. I had a lot of organic gummi bears last night!! Today, I look BETTER, I feel awesome, and I don't feel a twinge of guilt. I work my ass off, what's wrong with a treat here or there?? I have no explanation for it, but, I always look better when I include a few controlled, and portioned, treats."Every woman should have four pets in her life: a mink in her closet; a jaguar in
her garage; a tiger in her bed; and a jackass who pays for everything." ~Paris Hilton~
