    3 months down the drain after 1 cheat day?

    I had a cheat day today for the the first time in about 2 weeks and tonight after looking at myself in the mirror it seemed like I looked just like i did 3 months ago. Im starting to get real frustrated and about to just give up altogether and pig out on whatever I want but still lift and run to maintain a little bit.

    Yeah man 3 months down the drain cause 1 day. Yup, that seem's logical right? 3 months, Im guessing you wrre cutting, if you averaged over 1 lb a week, thats 4 lbs a month x 3 months = 12 lb's of fat (if done correctly). Now to gain 1 lb you need to eat 3,500 calories (unburned). So I guess hypotehtically speaking you must of eaten 42,000 calories today right. Gosh you must eat alot.

    Agreed with Sin;cer, a pound = 3500 calories, if that was ur cheat, u probably only averaged 3 meals today becuase u were stuffed. so lets say somehow u at 5500 calories today, u would burn off at least 2500 (average). This means u have a spare 2000 calories whichc doesnt even equal a pound.

    I dont get waht all the hype is about cheat days... Why if your doing the hard work to get there why do you want to step on it in one day. Granted i understand maybe like.... a Jimmy Johns or sushi.. but why go all out with like 4,000 calorie days? Dude.. im sure its not that bad. Stay strong and keep working.

    It's not that I wanted to cheat It was my parents that wanted to go eat at a place called the Coney Island where all they have are hamburgers and hot dogs and I ate about 2 of each loaded with chilli and cheese.

    i definitely do.. but most people on here probably are just dieting rather than leading a healthy well rounded nutritional lifestyle. so you kind of have to cater to the majority sometimes. there really should be no such thing as a cheat meal.

    I agree!! Personally, I call my "cheat meal" a treat. I had a lot of organic gummi bears last night!! Today, I look BETTER, I feel awesome, and I don't feel a twinge of guilt. I work my ass off, what's wrong with a treat here or there?? I have no explanation for it, but, I always look better when I include a few controlled, and portioned, treats.

    Its the carbs they take up 3 times their weight in water = fuller muscles and more defined for a few days
