Are there ANY good protein bars for Keto?

Just curious if any protein bars existed that were low enough in carbs for keto or if there are some recipes for them.

Not really. The carbs aren't the issue. It's the fact that even though they're low in carbs, they still spike insulin, can cause cravings, slow weight loss down..etc You're not even supposed to have any type of protein powder during keto and that's whats in bars.

Post workout only. Sorry, should've worded that part better.

It spikes insulin so it shouldn't be used as a meal replacement any other time.

If you take a look at the recipe section of www.c-k-d.com, I know there are some recipes for homemade keto bars over there. My memory of them is that they are a mixture of protein powder, coconut milk and peanut butter. And I think Skelooth posted a recipe here recently with lots of seeds in it.

However, a packet of nuts and/or some cheese would do just as well nutritionally, and be a lot cheaper.
    65% fat, 30% protein, 5% carbs = keto.
