I haven't heard of wild dreams with ZMA, but alot of people report it with Melatonin. ZMA has never affected my dreaming.

I don't understand this. Before I started taking ZMA I never had dreams. Only rarely on occassion. When I started taking it, I noticed no effects from it. No sleeping aid and no strength boosts like it claims. The only thing that happened was it gave me the most fukked up dreams I could ever had. They started to freak me out and I would remember them when I woke up and I couldn't stop thinking about them. The dreams were so fukked up that i didn't WANT to even think about them, but I couldn't stop. I've been off ZMA for like 3 or 4 months now and i STILL get fukked up dreams I just don't remember em well anymore. IMO this product just screwed me over, cuz I don't like dreams to begin with. I've been off this product for so long and I'm still getting them...
The dream thing shouldn't be the reason you shy away from the product. It's nothing big. You get used to it. Basically, i just feel the product is useless and does nothing but give you wild dreams..

Stack it with a good source of L-Dopa on an empty stomach before bed and you'll turn into Alice in Wonderland.

I took two nights' worth of samples of Shocker's Thermolean Pm and didn't notice any weird dreams or anything. It's got Melatonin, ZMA, GABA, and L-Dopa in it. I guess people react differently to some of the ingredients. I would love to find something that gives me more vivid dreams though....as long as they don't freak me out or anything.

It can give you weird dreams.
It all depends on how you react to it. The results from ZMA vary widely amongst different individuals, as you can see from the above posts.

yes it makes my dreams more vivid. You can also remember them in detail a lot of times too. Something I could rarely do not taking ZMA. You do get a sound deep sleep though.

The dreams are insane. Vivid and very weird. Im scared to take that stuff cus it gives me nightmares that seem soo real. The only thing it really did for me was better deeper sleep and the dreams.

ZMA, Melatonin, GABA, and Valerian Root ........all capable of giving you VERY vivid dreams. Unfortunately, nones of these actually helps ME sleep. But that's just me.

How long did you guys that had weird dreams use ZMA before they started. Right away, or did you have to build up?

The name of the topic reminded me something...I had vivid dreams for a while when on ZMA, but they only lasted about a week.
I will tell you what gives me crazy dreams to the point it distorts reality from dream - Arginine/Ornithine Ethyl Ester. I can't use it before bed because of that lol.

I hadn't had dreams for a while until I started. I wouldn't call them weird, my dreams have always been FUBAR for the most part, but I just seem to have more frequent dreams now. Sleep habits haven't improved. I can get to sleep but can't STAY asleep. Been that way for all my life as far as I can remember.

For the first 1 1/2 week I noticed nothing, but around the end of the 2nd week I started noticing vivid dreams. I never got nightmares or wild dreams from it though.

ZMA makes me aggresive in my dreams.......the second night i was taking it, i had a dream that i was in a big room fighting a bunch of people, and throwing them through walls ect........lol.......maybe it has something to do w/ extra gh being released or a surge in testosterone during that particular time in my sleep.....who knows.......i like it.

I've always had crazy dreams - ZMA makes them crazier. I'm probably wrong, but to my understanding, ZMA causes the user to get to REM sleep faster and stay there longer (as part of it's function in testosterone enhancement). REM sleep is when you dream.
On the same note - bananas will also give you really funky dreams (at least for most people) - eat one just prior to bed and find out.
