    West Side Question

I've been a weightlifter/bodybuilder off and on for the better part of 10 years. I've recently decided to place emphasis on the powerlifting aspect. I am interested, for the most part, on Westside training. I've done a decent amount of research on various theories. Westside seems to be genre of choice. I've also examined other methods of training including Metal Militia's school of thought. I recently purchased "flex-bands", constructed chains and boards. My question is...... what do people feel about ME Squat ME Bench DE Squat DE Bench vs. ME Squat ME Bench DE Bench DE Squat. I feel that the latter does not incorporate enough rest time. It's simply a question of the split. Anyway, I'd appreciate any input one may have to offer.

    Stats: 5'8" 200 lbs. Bench - 425 Squat - 515 Deadlift - 545
-- all lifts are gym lifts, no gear, never competed
-- always big on bench, wheels need work, pulls have potential to blow up w/ the right training

It depends on what days you do each. However, The second does not look like enough rest b/t bench days.

    i second what zack said
When I see guys working out for cosmetic reasons, I see vanity exposing them in the worst way, as cartoon characters, billboards for imbalance and insecurity. Strength reveals itself through character. - Henry Rollins
