    How much HMB??

    When taking HMB along with other supplements...how much of this stuff do yall recommend taking?

    None, its long been considered a useless supplement. Take it back for a refund before you open it.

    What do you recommend then? I have been working out for a while and use creatine, glutamine, protein, and ZMA. Is there anything that you would recommend??

    na bro dont listen to lonny, he probably never used it. it does have alot of hype a few years ago but it doesnt anymore. it doesnt live up to what it claims, like anything else does. they're will always be something better out there but it is an ok product. take high doses like 9g a day. you will def. see the difference in recovery time and some b/f when u get off it.

    that is my personal experience, as well as a few others who have tried it and had the same w/ high dosing.

    If you've got the money to WASTE on this crap, take 9+ grams a day....I took massive amounts and bought into it's hype when it first came out and gained nothing from it!

    lmao ya i gained nothing from it as well, i losed b/f and increased recovery time. if he already bought it whats the point in telling him its junk?? might as well tell him dont buy it again unless HE likes the results...and tell him a dosage to get the best results out of it.

    you'll see better results by supplementing with BCAA. (10g / day would be excellent), the problem with hmb is you have to take it long term to see good results (at least 3 months to gain 3 kg ()
    6 months for 5 kg and 1year for 7 kg). But for that long you can't tell if the weight gain come only from hmb.

    Actually i did use it at 6 grams a day. I got no results from it at all.
    No loss of bf, no increased definition, nothing. It doesn't have any hype anymore because everyone who knows anything about supplements, knows an effective dose is way to expensive and its pretty much junk.

    For the price of 9 grams a day you could buy so many things better than it.

    SUpplements you should have year round

    Protein (whey, and a blended one)
    Simple carbs (dextrose, and maltodextrin powder)
    Creatine
    Multivitamin
    Those are the only supplements you "need"

    From there its all open

    Prohormones, anti estrogens, Liver tabs, Ephedrine/caffiene, Glutamine, thyroid stuff, uncouplers, ect.

    Betagen when I used to take it worked well for I (keyboard is f**ed up) I had gained a couple of pounds of uslce in a bunch of weeks and loved it.

    Keyboard being weird really sucks.
    If you always talk about how you could be in great shape if you just worked out and ate right, why don't you just work out and eat right?

    Might have been the creatine working. Betagen gives you even less HMB than straight hmb.

    This is the brand that I use. I used HMB back when it was all the hype, at the recomened dose of 3 grams a day. In a month's time I had no gains and an empty wallet. Now that HMB is affordable, I tried it again at 5 grams a day, and in 6 weeks time, I gained 4 lbs of lean mass and had good strength gains.

    I am using the recommed 3grams a day and have gained at least 3lb of muscle after adding it with edcysterone, protein, glutamine,creatine and a multi....so it could be a combined effect.

    If you just started taking all that you'd be expected to gain at least that much from the creatine alone.
