    Gaining Weight with a Fast Metabolism?

    I have a fast metabolism,I eat like a pig,and don't gain a lot of weight. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know what I can do?

    These kind of threads always make me smile. Why do you want to gain weight. Don't you want to just put on muscle. It's a myth that you can't gain muscle without gainning fat. All you need to do is eat a little more so your up to 500 extra cals a day above your maintenance level. If your not gainning muscle then your not training right. People think they are getting bigger faster because they are putting fat on. Then when they slim down they think they are loosing muscle as they don't look as big as they did before. I fell for it. It looked like I had lost loads of muscle when I slimmed down but I didn't loose any strength and gainned some so I cannot have lost any.

    No, if you're not gaining weight, you're not eating enough. It's that simple. If you were eating enough to gain muscle, and your training was off or you weren't eating right, then you'd gain fat at least. But if you're not gaining fat or muscle, then you're just not eating enough.
