What business is it of mine who they sleep with, what color someone was born in, where or who a guy may worship...I have a wife, children, grandchildren..I could be in a gym with everyone gay but me and feel secure...it's a shame some of you cannot. I don't know if it's because you were born with less than pleasingly sized hardware, if you were touched the wrong way by the neighborhood bully, or if you have a tendency to hate as a way to feel part of the tribe. Whatever it may be, this is Carmine Devita over here and I don't count myself as one of your flock. Keep lifting, keep growing, but try to lose the hatred it's really not as cool as you may think.

With all due respect, sir, your entitled to your opinion; and I agree that Chris Dickerson may be all those great things, I could simply care less about his career, how he trains or trained, or what his diet his like, why? because I'm not interested, and I can't relate with him; I'm more interested in learning about bodybuilders that I feel have more in common with my way of life, I personally know two ifbb pros, and there more like me because we grew up, studied together and trained; and know, I'm a big fan of there's, simply because we have more in common and can relate with our childhoods. Like I said before I have no hatred at all, I simply don't care...

Call me ignorant, but i'd be very dissapointed if my fav. pros where gay. There is already a public steriotype that lots of bodybuilders are gay, and I shurely do not want to be classified into something I'm not. Gay bodybuilders add to that steriotype and unintentionally help feed it. I'd rather look up to straight, strong, masculine heros. Luckily my fav., Arnold, is not gay or anywhere near it.

But thats just my opinion, and other ppl are likely to disagree with it (starting a flame war...).

Bodybuilders get the gay stereotype cause of the body shaving, tanning and oiling up for the stage. There is alot of self inspection or selfworship whatever you want to call it. When break down a physique other people think you are checking him out.

Did I read earlier in the post that Gunter was gay. I wish I were in his shoes, he is engaged to Kim Lyons right now. She has got to be the hottest figure chick out there. I do not think that is gay.

There was an article around ages ago about how SOME (probably tiniest minority) bbders don't get much pay and take part in gay orgies/porn as that pays good and they need money to be able to afford foods,cycles etc...

Have had people tell me to my face, "Why would I choose this ****??" Have had fewer clients (but still some) who later tried suicide cause they tried to be something different but couldnt do it.

Then I had people on bb.com say that they wish the ***s killed themselves cause less of that **** in the world.


Truth is, I wish I didnt know half the **** I know from people in the sport, but I do. Yes there are gay people in the sport...I dont know about specific IFBB bodybuilders but I can name a **** load of other organizations that have them. Odds are IFBB have them too...

I know a doctor who have tried to exploit a kid (18yrs) who I worked with since he was 13/14...got him juice and did **** that if this kid wasnt 18yrs old, I would have been mandated by state law to report. The kid finally got wise after the dude had him try on posing suits in front on him, "to get the right fit" BTW the doctor was married..is he gay ? is he a child/teen molester? you decide for yourself........does this taint bodybuilding? HELL NO !!!!! Chances are your kid will be more likely to be molested by the soccer coach than someone in bodybuilding.

This juvenile **** has got to stop, but I know it wont, until every person who doesnt care or hates gay people, actually has someone in their family who is gay, or better yet has a son who is gay, cause then your ****en head will explode. Either you will wind up killing him or he will kill himself cause he's so aware of your hatred for him.

being gay will be a stigma in the bodybuilding world no matter how many sensitive ppl like carmine there are. if we let gay be mainstream like being straight is, there are ppl that are going to screw bulls just to be different. where do we draw the line?

i have my own opinions on gays, but as long as they don't bother me or affect my personal life at all then i dont care. if someone came out and said my favorite baseball/football/IFBB pro was gay then would i be disappointed? yeah i guess, but in general they're not my favorite because i think they're a great guy, but because i think their accomplishments in their sport are awesome.

so, whatever. everyone has their own opinions, and all are justified.
