    RAW Bench Record for 140lb weight class

    I was wondering what the RAW bench record for the 140lb weight class is. I've looked for quite some time and cannot seem to find any useful information. If anybody could help me out it would be much appreciated. Right now my RAW max is 235. I'm curious to know how much I need to improve my max to have a crack at a record.
    Height: 5'10"
    Weight: 205
    Raw Max Lifts:
    Bench: 385
    Squat: 355
    Deadlift: 430

    According to usapl.com the biggest raw bench @ 148 pounds is 314 lbs.

    My sqaut max is very low because I use to do them with a very narrow stance. Once I start using a wider stance I'm sure they will go up.

    there is no way record is 314 at 148...I put up about 310 when i weighed about 150 and i would think there is someone who could do significantly better than that. twice your body weight is impressive but record holding?

    The world record for the 148s in the 100% raw powerlifting fed is 365, a little better.

    Not too many people compete raw anymore due to the risk of injury involved. The problem with finding the high raw records is all the feds that once had high raw records are erased by those who use gear now. I'm not too positive, but I wouldn't be surprised if the all time raw record in the 148s is atleast 3x bwt.

    yeah i did 2x no equipment at about 19 years old and im not even a powerlifter. id hope i have more strength gains to look forward to haha

    not even time to check, but I think it is roughly about 3x bodyweight raw...there are guys in the 132 that benched in the low 400s...there is mike booker that owned it up in the even lighter weight classes...I would say for the 148s about 450 raw, but don't quote me on that...later

    Same here I squat more than I bench. My weight is around 140lbs

    My squat is at 315lbs and bench is at around 205lbsx3 now

    I dunno I guess my legs got stronger through wrestling

    My goal is to get my squat to 335lbs, I attempted it but failed.
    Also get my bench to 225lbs, but first get to 215lbs.

    I want to test my front squat, I've put 225lbs before.

    Since this topic is about world records, does anybody know what the all time RAW bench record is? I've heard it was 700 something by Scot Mendelson. Any idea how much he weighed when he did that? Or how long he trained to get there?

    The current raw bench WR was set by Scott Mendelson. I believe he was 308 at the time. The video is on irongame.com. Personally....I would NOT have passed that lift. It wasn't a paused lift, it was a touch and go.

    Still damn impressive IMO though.
