What can you bench?
Inspired by the average bench for a male being just 135lbs, someone wondered what the average bench would be on this forum. I know its misc. and half the people in here only seem to lift the next slice of pizza to their mouth, but anyway . . .
EDIT: please dont lie. we all respect you 15 year olds who can bench 500lbs but please refrain from telling us about it

There seems to be way too many people benching >200lb.
This could be because only people who have decent benches are doing the pole or alot of people are lying.

Well - given that this is a bb'ing forum - it makes sense that people here would bench more than the 'average' person who doesn't bench at all.

Well I did this online calculator and it came out "Stronger than the Hulk" but I realized I put in my weight wrong, so then it said 2lbs.

200 lbs is not decent. Im 165 lbs and I can put up 300 lbs. Alot of these guys have to weigh more than me so there is no excuse why 200 + shouldnt be easy
assuming you guys actually at least attempt to bodybuild

Hey buddy, why don't you step into the real world. 200lb IS decent. Most people in the gym won't even be around that. Not everyone is strong nor does everyone lift to get strong, some just want to look fit. So out of the few in society who go to the gym or have a labor intensive job, a good amount of those won't be able to bench 200lb.
I know a short guy who's 185lb and benches 500lb but that doesn't mean that 300lb should be easy either.

i can bench 75 kg (165.345 pounds) 5 times...i've never tried to do a "max" with only one rep because that's pointless and dangerous (i'm training alone @ home).
Oh !! and for those who 'll say "WTF kalagan, are u a wuss ?!!"..you must know that my bodyweight is only 152.11 pounds.
