for legs we all know about squats and deadlifts.
but i feel that something with a hard "forward" push is missing; something similar to pushing a car!
seems to me this would be a very powerful leg move.
what is there in the gym for that? i don't live somewhere that i can just go out and be pushing my car.

According to that:
Main Muscle Worked: Quadriceps
Other Muscles Worked: Hamstrings, Calves, Glutes
Definitely hits your lower back, but if you're not feeling it in your legs, you're doing it incorrectly.

No way is the main muscle worked the quads. Without a doubt its the posterior chain that is the main movers for the deadlift. In regards to the original post if you want to work that motion then you'll just have to get out and push cars.
