OK so reading a number of articles it seems that a protein regiment would consist of 1g/lb. which I can see making sense.
Now i'm thinking about buying the ON 100% gold Whey since its got iso in it and its cheap. but 1 serving is only 24g. and reading an Article on hear they suggested:
meal 1 - 30-60g of protien
meal 2 - 30-60g of protein
meal 3 (pre exercise) 30-60g of protein
meal 4 (post exercise) 50-100g of protein
meal 5 (before bed) 30-100g of protein.
so i'm about 140lbs but if i took the bare minimum here i'd be taking in 170g of protein. which is fine, but where do you get it all from?!? how many times a day do most people have a Protein Shake? i've been taking mine once a day on non workout days, and twice on workout days. should i be upping this? I mean i know its better to put food into than suppliment, but i don't know if i have that much food that can give me 50-100g of protein.
so just curious as to what you guys do, and if i should be taking my protein shakes at least 3 times a day?
