I mean, 30 reps isnt considered a lot and yet, it would take 30 guys with 100 reps to make that happen. I mean is there something I'm missing?

hmm well I jus started a few weeks ago it jus seems like people with 500+ reps had to get a ton of people with tons of reps to rep them. 50,000 worth of reps as a matter of fact.

Is internet "cred" really that important? I could honestly care less about how many "reps" I have, I'm here to get the info I need and contribute what I can and that's it. I have a life outside of this forum.

Reps aren't really that big of a deal. The biggest bonus of having a lot of reps is being able to really give someone a lot of points and help boost them for something good, or put them in the red for something stupid. I'm not quite to the point where my reps are very influential, but I have put people in the red with one neg. before, pulled people out with one pos., and seen people's numbers jump. It's nice I guess, not that big of a deal though.

Reps are like being able to wiggle your ears, turn your eyelids inside out, or move your pec muscles. Cool, but ultimately useless.
