    Protein with Ice cream

I know some people have said u can do this, but will it slow absorption or doesnt it matter with protein? I would just take it regular but the shakes dont agree well with me. Also will this effect the ability of the protein powrder to worjk if mixed with it?

I think it really depends on what your trying to do, if your attempting to gain weight the added calories from the ice cream is a good thing, it also depends on if your trying to stay away from processed sugars. If it tastes better and agrees with you go for it, the added calories will help out fill in those gaps in your diet. Ice cream does digest slower than people think because it includes a nice mix of protein, fat and carbs. I would go easy though because some brands carry high amounts of saturated fats which you want to limit in your diet.
I would see no problem though if you don't mind the added sugars and fat. Just use it in moderation.
