The Warrior Diet Q&A

I've searched the forums for any topics on the warrior diet and I haven't seen any useful ones. Most of it are flaming. Please guys, don't come to flame me here. I don't care what you think of the diet until you've tried it and read the book. If you want to be a body builder or anything above 200,this diet is not for you. .I'm here to help people and answer questions about this diet. This diet is for people who wants to have pure lean muscle, low body fat, atheleticly fit and be HEALTHY overall. You really have to read the book to understand all the concepts. I thought of myself how I could eat 1 meal a day,but then I tried it and I started feeling amazing ever since. This diet isn't some made up bull**** . It's based on history and human evolution. It makes so much sense to me. I've been following the diet for 2 months or so now. I'm telling ya,I've never felt so awake and energized before. People think you will have no energy and be sleepy because you don't eat any meals. FALSE. It is the exact opposite. I've been eating 1 meal a day for 2 months straight now and I don't feel weak or drowsy at all. If i felt weak I wouldn't have stayed on the diet. I feel GREAT and I LOVE this diet. Every day I'm improving and I feel so healthy. I'm lifting heavier weights than I could ever lift than before,my running time is improving,im losing more and more body fat every day,my body is getting hard like a rock. I've never felt so lean and strong like this before. How does it work?? Yes it's hard to believe but it works. If it didn't work I wouldn't have stayed on this diet for more than a day. I love eating. I can eat anything and so can you. . But mostly I eat high protein and average amount of carbs. I usually eat a whole chicken,a plate of rice, salad. Then After my meal I'll have fruits and such. I drink a lot of juices with variety of vitamins. I eat more food than 2-3 people can eat at the same time and I'm NOT getting fat. It works and it's great. During the day(the controlled fasting phase) I'll drink a cup of %100 organic orange juice because when I wake up in the morning my mouth is so dry and it needs some natural sugar and orange juice does it for me. After i drink it my hunger for sugar is pretty much gone. I'll drink 1-2 cups of water and about 20-30 mins later i'll eat some almonds. Thats it. It does it for me and I do NOT get hungry..after that I can go on without eating anything for 6-7 hours and NOT feeling hungry at all..I'm not bull****ing here guys. I actually feel awake n full of energy. I drink a lot of green tea and water in middle of the day. Many of you know that green tea helps burn more fat for energy and this doubles up with my diet...On the days of my workout I drink coffee along with greentea. That is the best combo for burning fat. Coffee helps with the workout as well. You may ask how do you workout with empty stomach? Well let me explain here. When i went to the gym before this diet I've always felt sleepy and tired etc so I couldn't perform very well. Ever since I got on this diet I've had more energy n therefore I've improved more and more. I also do fatigue training, which is part of the warrior diet workout but it's not mandatory. Fatigue training is basicly doing cardio before resistance training..The point? Functional strenght. Resistance under fatigue.Therefor more FUNCTIONAL strenght. If you run and then workout you'll build up more strenght than just working out right away. I run(not jog) a mile before everytime I workout. I'm usually sweating my ass of after my cardio. Then I move to the weights after about 5 min rest/stretching. Hell,my deadlifts, squats n powercleans just keep going up even after cardio! It works..this diet is amazing. It's based on thousand years of human history. I suggest you read the book before you try it..it explains everything.Last word i'd like to say is that this isn't just a "oh i'm gonna get fit for summer!" diet. This diet is a life style diet. You can do it for rest of your life, you can experiment with it. It's not too strict at all. People here say it is and I laugh at them. This is one of the easiest diets ever. Once you start doing it you will overcome and and not feel hungry at all..Hell,I never get hungry anymore, even if I crave for some fruits ill just have an apple or a peach and that'll do me for the day.

I will answer any questions here..please feel free to ask any questions. No flames please ..

If you have not read the article on bodybuilding.com I suggest ya do. here it is http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/mahler49.htm the official website www.warriordiet.com

Little information about me.. I'm 17 years old. I've been training for a year straight now. i workout 3 times a week. I'll put up a pic of me here. I really didnt start lookin like this untill I got on the diet . I was bulky but then I started exposing more muscle w/ the same mass..

This is me recently

ill get a pic of me before the diet..remember ive been on this diet for 2 months. I can't wait till i've been on it for a year or two..i will come here and show you guys my progress

You shouldn't become too hungry, but when I first started I drank alot of water and had 3-5 fruits a day. When I had school i used to wake up 6 in the morning so it was a little hard.. Usually I had a fruit every 3-4 hours and that did it for me. Nuts are great..pistachios,almonds etc..you can have these to kill your hunger. Now I only eat 1 fruit a day..ill have a little handful of almonds. I don't get hungry that much. Note: I used to get hungry alot before I was on this diet.. I couldn't go on for more thans 3-4 hrs w/out eating :/

If you want to have a lot muscle ,don't start with this diet right away.. Do other diets that bulk you up and gain alot of muscle and then if you go the warrior diet you'll look superrior. You build muscle on this diet too but its gradually. your sig says you are 151 which is decent.. You'll just get very cut with this diet..but you wont gain muscle as fast.Don't get me wrong, you'll still look very good.

I get this, the reason we eat big at night because the nutrients we eat at night uses it to repair the body while we are resting, then the next day we get good energy because we are repaired...it make very sense, how many hours before bed to we eat the big food? i do cardio on empty stomach, will i have much better energy than before? as you said that you eat a piece of fruit can i eat like 2 fruits every 2-3hours? no need to count calories right?

Alright..since it's summer now I wake up very late(around noon) but ill post my schedule when i had school and in summer.

For example today.

Controlled fasting phase.(16-18 hours)

I woke up at 1 PM, I went to the fridge right away and got myself a cup of orange juice. I drank that. Then I had some water and I grabbed about 5-6 almonds. That's all I ate today. Then I went to work and i drank about 4 cups of green tea and a lot of water.

Over eating phase(main meal)(4-6 hours)(You can eat after you have your main meal)

I bought my dinner around 8 or so.. I had a whole chicken with a plate rice and salad..I bought a herbal tea to drink along with it. After I killed the tea I drank 2 cups of orange juice. After I finished my meal I grabbed bunch of almonds and started eating those for extra fiber.

During school I woke up at 6 am
I'd drink a cup of orange juice immadietly and have some water. I'd go get ready for school and on the way to school I'd have an apple. I took a fruit with me to school because I usually got a little hungry around 9-10 AM..then I'd have an fruit such as apple or orange..Then we had lunch around 12 and at lunch I just got a apple. After that I'll just go home and if I got hungry i'll have some for fruit.. I usually workout around 6 PM.My workouts are about an hour. I eat my meals immediatly following my work out.( i explained my meal above, its the same).

What the author of the book suggests is first you start out with less aggresive foods like salad,fruits,veggies..so you eat some of that, not too much and then you move on to protein...you eat much as protein as you can..fish,chicken,steak..anything..After eating enough your body will tell you that it doesn't want anymore meat..then you move onto carbs..Any form of carbs..I always eat rice for carbs..You can have barkley which is one of the best form of carbs..and at last you can have your fat..any form of fat..you can have a dessert..yes! you can eat anything..you can have a box of pizza as long as you ate enough protein. You don't count calories at all. Don't worry about getting fat at ALL..I gain like 5 pounds after my meals and then in the morning im slim as hell.

exactly. What you eat is all for recovery because during the whole day you were controlled fasting..your body was detoxifing and burning all that fat..It's hard to explain it but you got the idea..if you read the book its alot better.

Make sure your meals are about 3 hrs before sleep.

You really dont count anything.. Just go with what your mind wants. If you feel hungry and want a fruit..go ahead and eat one..if you want some almonds,go have some almonds. If you want to drink some juice,go drink some juice. The whole point is to NOT eat a meal and full yourself up during the day.

what i do during the day is drink a hell load of green tea. It's one of the best drinks out there. When I drink it on empty stomach it's like instant energy for me. It clears me body out, speeds up my metabolism and fastens the fat burning process..green tea is the best source of energy for me

You can eat anything yes but to get the best results from it,you can choose to eat only healthy organic foods on it and which will get massive results. If you want to lose 15-20 pounds by september, I suggest you buy the book and follow the diet. However if you follow the controlled fasting part as what it says, you can eat anything you want and you'll still lose fat.

Set up a exercise routine along with a lot of cardio and you can do it. Drink a lot of green tea and a cup of coffee a day. Search for a healthy fat burner( the warrior diet has one) and perhaps you may reach your goal.

If you are not full tonight and you want to try the diet for tomorrow,go fill yourself up..but make sure its not right before sleep. You really wont need whey protein during the day. You should get the energy source from your body, which is from fat.

Just try out the diet tomorrow and see how you feel..let me know

Not to flame or anything, but the idiocy of this diet is only matched by those who actually buy into it. A calorie deficit by any & all means - is still a calorie deficit.

Well if you are full right now don't force yourself to eat.If you feel like eating, eat till you are satisfied.

Your meal routine should be-Start out with some salad..then eat as much as meat you want..have some carbs and eat whatever else you want. Trust me you won't feel bloated the next day

165 5% bf is pretty damn lean. If you get on this diet you'd be god like. You'd expose so much more muscle and become alot stronger. The author of this diet is 170 with %5 percent body fat without trying.. Hes 50 years old and pretty ****in cut.

straight from the book

recommonded

Live(raw) fruits and vegetables
feshly prepared fruits and vegetable juices
warrior growth serum(diet product)

optional
small amount of lean protein
handful of lean almonds

supplements: vitamin c,grapeseed extractmcoral derived highly oionized minerals, probiotics, eznymes, multivitamin

optional: ginseng,gingko biloba,ginger,glutamine,tyorsine,dmae

he doesnt recommend you take protein shakes because then that'll be your source of energy..you want to burn fat..if you drink the shake your energy will come from that.

Yeah, he's also making money off of the innocent lay public, who has no clue whatsoever about the most basic principles of human physiology. I know a guy who's 6', 220 lbs jacked, & has sick vascularity running up his lower abs YEAR ROUND. He also eats like total ****, drinks a bottle of wine a night, & has a pint of Hagen Daaz daily. He trains 2 days a week max. It's called genetics, kiddies. Good thing this guy has no intentions of writing a book.

I don't give a rat's ass how well you're doing on this crackpot fad diet. The fact of the matter is, diets like these demonstrate what the human body is capable of enduring - not that the human body is capable of achieving. There's no special secret to losing fat under a caloric deficit. What someone should do is write a book called the Dip**** Diet. You take a ****, & dip it in peanutbutter, beat on your chest like Tarzan, chant "I AM SOMEBODY" seven times, then proceed to eat the dipped ****. If and only if the amount of **** you eat doesn't calorically exceed the amount you burn, you will succeed on the diet.

Again, this is not a purposely malicious flame job, it's free speech against stupidity. Have a great evening!
