I researched my BA for years. These are the things that reading about it didn't quite compare to the actual experience...
For the first 3 days you are going to feel like sh!t

After the 3rd day you start feeling better.
Your body goes through heck with the anethesia and all the antibiotics, you are going to be extremely bloated for at least a week. It is completely normal.
I was prescribed percocet, but on the 3rd day i switched to extra strenth tylenol. I didn't like how the medication made me feel.
Your apetite is going to be gone for awhile, and the pain meds make you naseous. Don't eat heavy meals for like the first 3 days.
Drink water to flush out all the medication...Drink Gatorade too (you need the extra electrolites).
To be perfectly honest it feels like 200 pound guy is sitting on your chest, and the hardest is sitting up in bed. That feeling lasts for awhile. When you first wake up, you are stiffer than you would ever imagine...some ladies call it "morning boobs."
I wasn't allowed to raise my arms for 2 weeks, they had to stay at the side.
You aren't allowed to lie flat to sleep for about 2 weeks... It is a royal pain in the a$$ (literally)! You need at least 4 pillows to prop you up. Your tailbone is going to hate you.
Some doctors don't let you shower until the stitches come out, if you are lucky your doc will put water proof bandages over them so that you can. I had areola incisions... there are 0 scars. The incision was about 1 and a half inches. You will feel random weird pains while the nerves are regening. Some women lose all feeling in their nipple, and some get extra sensitive nipples.
I wasn't allowed to go to the gym for a month, and wasn't allowed to do yoga for 2 months.
And I am never allowed to do certain chest exercises again. Some docs allow you to do slight cardio from the 2nd week, but you have to keep bouncing to a minimum.
There are a bit more gruesome details about it that I wish I knew before I went through with it, and I hate how reality T.V. makes it look like a walk in the park. This surgery is not for everyone, and my heart goes out to ladies that have had complications.
Make sure that you are aware of all complications, like C.C., bottoming out, rippling and infections. Getting a boob job isn't usually a once in a lifetime surgery, you will probably have to get it redone at least once or twice later on (even if you didn't have complications).
I had it done 4 months ago, and I had 0 complications. I went with the best P.S. in Miami, regardless of cost.
I had under the muscle, saline both filled to 350 cc, which makes me a 34 D. I started with a 34 B.
I hope this helps you! Good luck! If you have any questions at all, just msg me.
