I recently had 2 weeks off from the flu/gastro. My first week back I just stuck to the same routine but dropped the weights a little so I didn't hurt myself. Although u won't have lost any muscle, ur muscles need to relearn the weightlifting movements again. Just think of it as a good chance to practise form and when u feel ready slowly increase. It's been 2 weeks back for me now and I'm lifting heavier and feeeling strong than I was b4 I got sick. Taking time off helps the muscles grow and recover!
