What a bold statement you might think, but I can completely back this up.
This weekend, I ate *gasp* 'The Hamdog'.
'What is a hamdog?' you ask?
"The Hamdog is a hot dog wrapped in a beef patty that's deep fried, covered with chili, cheese and onions, and served on a hoagie bun topped with a fried egg and two fistfuls of fries."
I don't have the picture with me currently, but it is a hideous monster of excess. And frankly, it was damned tasty. Right up until I was done eating it, when the real nature of the hamdog was revealed to me. I'd have to cheat on my wife to feel as guilty as I did after eating that damned thing. Some reports say 1100 calories, others say 1900. Either way, I was hoping I could yack at some point, but no such luck and I just had to wait it out.
Here is a picture someone posted of it.

The place that serves these is called Mulligans, they are in Atlanta and they are mostly known for the Hamdog and the "Luther' which is a bacon cheeseburger served on a grilled Krispy Kreme donut.
I just had to get that off my chest. Now, off to eat a can of tuna.
