    Rest Period for Abs

    Hey Guys,

So what's the deal with abs. I've heard that you can work them hard everyday, and have seen in people's workout journals that they do work them everday. Then I've heard that they need rest like any other muscle.

    So- what's the deal?

    Thanks in advance.

abs adapt very fast to any routine. Low rep, high rep, heavy, light, long rests or short rests. The best way to go is changing all those things very often.

    ......

For me - I work them heavy - lower number of sets + reps. Then I do a burnout. Also, for me 3 times a week is optimal. You can overtrain your abs.
