    Does anyone own an elliptical?

I'm thinking about buying an elliptical at home for the odd day when I don't want to run for cardio and was wondering if anyone has one? What brand do you have and how do you find it? I've seen some at the stores for around $800 which would be great, but I wonder the quality of them. How much do you think you'd have to spend to get a decent one?

    Thumbs up

    Hi Shannon,

Last October my husband and I bought (after much research) a Keys A7e Elliptical Crosstrainer at (scroll down the page):
    http://www.fitnessblowout.com/produc...ry=ellipticals.
I think we ended up spending about $1100 and they price match--so you may want to shop around and tell them if you find it lower somewhere else (I think we saved a good bit of $ this way). We've been very happy with it (I hadn't used one before & used it "blind") and customer service gets an A+ as well.

    Cheers.

I only spent like $500 (cnd) for one and it does the trick for both myself and my daughter. But I do agree, do the research and find out what one will suit ur needs.

I dont know how much he speant..but my bother bought a Pro Form Eliptical for home use. When its working its smooth as glass and a pleasure...but considering it has broke about 4 times (something goes out of balance or breaks every time you move it even a little bit) Id say dont but that brand.

Precor makes good, and expensive ellipticals that are very smooth and need very little maintenance. They have incline/resistance.
