Hi, I'm trying to get in shape asap. First thing I want to get out was would lossing more then 10 pound per month affect me in anyway after I reached my goal which is around 180-190. Okay now to my routine. I'm taking all my vitamins but I'm not sure on how much I'm taking for protein/carb/fat. My typical meal plan for the day is.
4:30 a.m. 5 to 6 eggs with 1 yolk
8:50 a.m. 1 or 2 cans of tuna or chicken breast with 1 fruit and 1/4 gal of water
12:30 p.m. 1 or 2 cans of tuna or chicken breast with a fruit and 1/4 gal of water
3:30 p.m. anything I see in frig when I come back from work. Usually something little. ( What should I be eating at this time? )
4:00 p.m. Weight lift for 30 minutes
4:30 p.m. Walk around the lake for 1 hour or climb on my eliptical machine or 40 minutes
5:00 p.m. Drink 2 or 3 scoop of whey protein
7 or 8 p.m. Eat some mix nuts and drink 1 small cup of milk with 2 scoop of whey protein with lots of water.
Should I quit being lazy and actually look at the stuff I'm eatting or should I just continue on with this plan not knowing what the exact number of stuff I am putting in my system? Should I up my weight lift and decrease my cardio?Oh yeah and how do I get rid of BF?

Lazy and fat loss are two words that do not work together.
You’re a long way from where you need to be friend, you need to start reading a lot, heres a start
My generic response to all posts that say “hey I’m new here and need some help can anyone give me the basics?”
First read the stickies:

Now read posts about diet and nutrition. the nutrition forum would be a good place to post your ideas about what you’re going to eat.

Good BMR calculator:

if you are very serious I would recommend buying or finding a copy of ”Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle” which has helped a great many people on this forum including myself.

read up on different workouts.

I personally do Max-ot but you should do a more basic workout to get used to working out and strengthen your tendons first. Don’t jump into something to fast.
Now try and understand cardio and it’s purpose:
Basically the rule is:
**YOU ARE DOING TO MUCH CARDIO IF YOU COULD BE DOING LESS AND STILL LOSING 1-2LBS OF FAT PER WEEK**

and most importantly read this, understand it and actually make a goal sheet. This will be the determining factor if you, someone new to a healthy lifestyle will actually stick with it for the long haul of get discouraged at the slightest challenge and quit.

I’ve hit a fat lose plateau, what do I do I can’t lose any more weight?
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showpo...1&postcount=35The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice THAT we fail to notice there is little we can do to change until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds.
