Does ZMA give you nightmares?

I remember reading a post about ZMA giving nightmares. I started taking the NOW Adam Multi and noticed it had ZMA in it. The last 2 nights I've had 2 nightmares. I started taking the multi 2 days ago.

it gives you more vivid dreams, which could lead to nightmares i guess

wish i had more of them, they are interesting

yeah IMO, zma supplements are cheap enough now it is worth it to me to buy it for the dreams. I have the craziest dreams ever when I take zma. And overall I seem to feel better in the mornings and in general when I take it.

Hi no its not true.
I take the most toxic green tea called Gun powder Green Tea and before the injury when I wanted to loose weight Id take like 2 to 4 litres of the stuff a day even drinking it cold.
It gave me a bloated stomach after I drank 2 litres and made me sweat and sometimes a headache thats it.

I drink large amounts of White Tea (similar to green tea) and supplement with Green Tea extract also, and I have yet to notice this.

I have had vivid dreams from ZMA, but not nightmares. I'm guessing ZMA just makes your dreams more intense, so if you were going to have a bad dream anyway on ZMA it would seem really bad

Greeen tea(decaf) may help you sleep, because it contains theonine, which relaxes you, I don't know about actually "giving" you dreams though.

I have gotten very life-like dreams sometimes from ZMA but never anything close to a nightmare.

hahaaaa the craziest dream ever on zma...(cant believe i just said "on ZMA" as if it was some crazy drug) anyways i had a dream spider-man was coming after me and i was running from him and he was shootin webs at me, it was insane

i was having those real "real" dreams where im crashing in my car ,and theres nothing i can do(it was one of'em) and I'd wake up,heart pumping like it really happened

Since taking ZMA Max and A-HD, I have had the most realistic dreams. Not really nightmares, but some were super realistic and had me waking up ready to go.

Seems to just be a deeper sleep for me to get tht weird. Feel super rested afterward.

i just had a craziest ZMA dream lol, i use Universal Nutrition btw...

i dreamt this girl i used to know came over to my house and we ate my home cooked food, and we was bout to get it on, but my sister was home...then i woke up lol

Green tea shouldn't give you vivid dreams, but I made dream tea a couple of times, the main ingredient is called "mugwort". srs. I took 500g mugwort, 200g damiana, 200g skullcap (scutellaria), mixed it in a bag, had a cup ever morning, gave the most lucid and awesome dreams.

I have been taking NOW Adam for about 3 months now. I usually dream once to twice a week. Adam
didn't do anything in terms of making me have nightmares.

BTW they reformulated NOW Adam so it doesn't have ZMA in it anymore. I still have the old formula as do you.

Even just normal zinc vitamins give me insanely vivid dreams. Especially if the pill is taken with dinner. I love those dreams. Fun times.

I can see how this would easily lead to nightmares if you are stressed out about stuff. I dont know what you can do about it except maybe stop taking it, or try to destress.

Its the vitamin B6 that does it. I have really vivid and strange dreams when I take ZMA, the one that is trademarked is the proper formular.

Personally, i have not had any weird dreams on ZMA anymore. I used to though.
