    Question Muscle Mass After Injury

Not sure if I am asing in the right section

When I was in high school I was in a car accident that broke my knee cap and right femur (same leg). I had four pins screwed into my leg with an external brace to hold the bone in place while it healed.

Fast forward to now, my quads have some muscle imbalance. I put a lot of extra work in on this side, but does this kind of muscle trauma mean it won't ever grow as full as my other?

    thanks

With proper training, I wouldn't rule out the muscle eventually going back to something close to what it was pre-injury.

You should consult with a Dr (physio/similar specialised field)
